New Vacuum PDF Print E-mail

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Dirt Devil. All opinions are 100% mine.2009dirtdevilguide_250x250

I really want a new vacuum, I used a Dirt Devil at work the other day, I work in Sales and Marketing and I needed to clean out a closet and this was the best vacuum I have ever used. I really think that I need to get one of these. It was great, it picked up all the dirt and junk that was on the floor. The floor was covered with popped balloons and dirt and little rocks. It was great the vacuum has incredible suction. I was able to get everything off the floor it even made the carpet look like it had just been installed.

I think this is the best vacuum ever; I would love to own one. I don’t think that I will be able to get one for at least for a couple of month. There are so many bills that I have right now. So I think I’m going to have to save up and get it after the holidays. I should be able to get one by the end of February. Then I will be able to get all of the dirt out of my carpet and since the Dirt Devil is so light I should be able to get everything off of the stairs as well.

Yamaha PDX-60 PDF Print E-mail

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Yamaha. All opinions are 100% mine.

I love my iphone, I have not had it for very long but it really does do everything that I could want it to do. I’m not only using it as a phone but also as a GPS and as an MP3 player. As of right now I don’t have a bunch of music on it. That is mostly due to the fact that I don’t have any way to connect it to my stereo without having a bunch of cords running along the wall that the stereo is on. I have been looking at getting the Yamaha PDX-60. The reason that I was going to get this unit is that you can attach a base station to it and have that anywhere in your house for the most part and transmit back to the speakers. Plus if you set the basestation down you can use a card-type remote in order to flip through your MP3’s or to pause the music. There are even four color options so you can have something that will match your iphone’s protective case. But the best part about this whole thing is that the base station has Strong, Rich and dynamic bass and the best part is it transmits a uncompressed lossless signal from the iphone to the base station.

Polenta PDF Print E-mail

I thought making a Polenta for dinner would be easy. The basic recipe is simple to follow but I think the real challenge is making them tasty and pairing them with something that will give them more flavor. I'm making them for the first time tonight and I was trying them as they cooled. They are good, but they need something. I'm thinking that I'm going to fry them a with a little onion and galic. And maybe add some butter to the oil to give them a better flavor. Right now they just taste like ground corn and that is just not appealing to me.

Hosted Exchange PDF Print E-mail

I’m thinking I might end up changing my hosting provider. I have been thinking about having my email hosted, I have been looking into get Hosted Exchange . I have heard that Robsoninc  has some good pricing on private servers. If you are unsure what a hosted exchange is that is when you have your Microsoft Exchange Server hosted by a third party. You would want to do this if you have a bunch of employees that travel and you want to make sure that you always have access to your email even if your in house network is having issues. Before make this kind of decision I would suggest you check out the following FAQ that way you can be sure you have all your facts straight.  If you do decided to go with this kind of service you can try a 14 Day Trial that way you can test the service and make sure it is what you really want to do.

I personally think that have your exchange servers hosted off site is a good solution that way you can always have access and if for some reason your server does happen to go down you have the knowledge that the company that you pick as your hosting provided has made sure that there are backups and can restore all of your messages in now time.

Sushi Friday PDF Print E-mail

I really would like tommorow to be Sushi Friday. I dont think we will be going since we are a little poor at the moment. I think we might be able to go on the 18th but we might need to put that off until about the 17th since we are going to be traveling towards the end of the month. We like to go to sushi before we leave town since Sushi is hard to find in a new city. Sometime you just get really bad Sushi when you travel and that would just be a horrable thing to have happen.

What is a perdurable, I have wondered what that is. I think I'm going to have to break out the big five pound dictionary in order to find out what that word means.

Master of Arts in Teaching PDF Print E-mail

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of USC. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have a couple of friends that have been talking about going back to school. Some of them are thinking that they might go to the USC Rossier School of Education, they are a school that offers current educators the chance to continue or finish their Master of Arts in Teaching. The school is renowned for their highly interactive online education process. In addition they have a tuition reimbursement program. What I like about the school is there accelerated program so you can finish your degree in as little as twelve months. Just think it you can have a Masters in just a year and be part of the USC Trojan Family.

The USC faculty is recognized for their contributions to the modern education system. With 100 years of history the school is internationally renowned.

I think that if a friend of mine was going to get a Masters in Education I would want them to get that degree from USC. Not only will they get a great education but they will be part of a leading educational facility, how can you beat that. So check them out you can see all of there program information just by clicking on this link.

The Holiday was great PDF Print E-mail

I had a great holiday weekend. We not only had a great dinner on Thursday but we also had some good company on friday and saturday. I think I would rate the holiday a 7 since we did not have any family in from out of town. If we could have had some family over I think it would have made the holiday weekend a 10. So we will just have to see what happens over X-mas and New Years. Over all I'm just thankfull that we had a really good time.

Tofurky and Gravy PDF Print E-mail

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Jones Soda. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have been staring at my Tofurky and Gravy Jones Soda for some time now, I just can’t decided if I want to open the bottle or not or just have it sit in the kitchen until Thanksgiving and have everyone see it when they come over. I have heard about this soda for a couple of years now. Since I moved to the Northwest people have been telling me that Jones makes some knock out flavors. I just never thought that I would have a bottle of one of them. It’s tempting to open it and see what it tastes like. But it’s just a weird flavor that I cannot make myself open it and try it. I think its one of those beverages that you need to have with some friends in order to really appreciate the flavor.

I think I’m going to use this bottle as the ice breaker when everyone shows up on thanks giving morning for pie since that is our tradition. I would love to be able to have everyone try the soda and then have pie. It would be like a mini thanksgiving dinner, but at 8 o’clock in the morning. The one think that I cannot forget to do is take a picture of everyone with the soda as they take that first sip.
