Dad's Birthday Pictures Have been Moved
Written by Administrator
Monday, 03 March 2008 19:54
Hello All,
I had to move Dad's Pictures off of the front Page it was causing some loading issues for the site. You can find them under the "Blog" button or with this link...
So I got a notice from Net Audio Ads today, they are opening up there referal offers agian. They have completed there audit and have found some major oppertunities. To qoute there article:
"We have reopened the affiliate (publisher) network to new core partners. We have done this because initial findings from preliminary results from BPA our network is 45% United States traffic. The remaining 65% of the traffic is originating from other countries. Quite surprising is the fact that the Philippines has a distribution of about 2 million potential audio ads per day. This is huge uncharted territory for someone in the Philippines that want to sell 5 second audio ads to businesses local to the Philippines."
In addition to the Philippines, the network is also attracting a lot of political ads since the 2008 presedintial campaign is starting to go into full swing.
"To explain what I mean we have a major political advertiser that wants to run 5 second Internet audio ads through our network but they are demanding more than we have the ability to supply. This is not to say that they aren’t going to run ads anyways, they simply would be willing to pay for much more if we had it."
"You do not have to sell ads if you don’t want to. If all you contribute is placing the PPP ad code on your website then thank you. The rest of us will fill the gaps as we move toward getting you paid on 100% of your website traffic 100% of the time."
Well it looks like this summer is shaping up to be really busy with people coming to visit, and trips that we will be taking. So far it’s not even summer and we already have people coming to visit. My fiancée’s sister and her boyfriend will be coming in March and then my Parents will be coming a little later in the summer to stay with us for a month or more during the height of the summer. My Fiancée’s mother is also going to be coming up sometime during the summer. I think one or both of my sisters will be coming to visit as well with my niece and nephew’s. So if you would like to have a place to stay you better get on the calendar soon!!

Jericho

So I was watching Jericho last year, and I have to say I really liked the show. I don’t know what CBS was doing with it, because I could never find it playing on TV. I had to watch it all On Demand via Comcast’s service. Even then it did not seem like it would update on a given day like most shows. All I can really say about the show is that the writers did a great job in conveying a message of fear and the unknown. And all of the actors did a GREAT job.
With the second season starting this month, I’m looking forward to finding out what really caused the nuclear attacks on America, and what will happen to the people of Jericho now that they have contact with the outside world. What will happen to Skeet Ulrich’s character and will we find out what he was really doing after he left town.
I found a list of all the episodes for season one available at CBS.com hope you like the show as much as I do.
PLOT
When Jake Green returns to his Kansas small-town home Jericho, where his dad Johnston is mayor, everyone is preoccupied with petty private business and family matters, but that change’s drastically after a completely unexpected explosion. It soon becomes clear there has been a nuclear attack, but neither by whom nor on which scale. Suddenly life in Jericho, and as the inhabitants gradually discover all over the disintegrating USA, becomes a more primordial struggle for survival, where inexperienced dangers, primitive as well as technological, have to be weighed against pressing primal needs, such as food, fuel and self-defense against plunderers, invaders and even each-other. Jake, whose private story like that of other main characters slowly becomes disclosed to us, proves extremely resourceful and a smart hero, while his father's mayoral authority and even that of the only available medical professionals is soon challenged and undermined, criminal potentials are tapped into by circumstances and good people must rise to the daunting occasion assertively or perish. Even when contact is made with neighboring surviving towns, desperate rivalry soon cancels out solidarity. Furthermore, there is a well-equipped, hidden organization at work, which recently arrived Robert Hawkins belongs to…

D. Grey-man "New Show im watching"
Written by Administrator
Friday, 22 February 2008 21:21
So I was looking around the net today for a new show to watch since I'm all caught up with Spice & Wolf, and I came across D. Grey-man. So I watched the first episode on Veoh.com and I really liked it, so I'm recommending it to you if you would like to check it out. Here is the basic plot as follows from the Wiki for the show.
Plot The story of D.Gray-man takes place on a fictional Earth at the end of the 19th century. The plot mostly centers around Allen Walker, a young boy who is a member of The Black Order; a secretive organization whose members are known as Exorcists. The Order's primary mission is to stop The Millennium Earl, an ancient being who intends to 'cleanse' the world by destroying all life on it.
Exorcists are specially chosen humans who are gifted with the ability to control and use Innocence, a divine substance created in ages past to combat the Earl. According to the Order's history, at the end of The Great Flood, 109 fragments of Innocence were scattered around the world. Once an Innocence fragment is matched to its compatible user, it can become a weapon or tool for the user to wield in the battle against the Earl.
Throughout the story, Allen is introduced to more Exorcists, including Yu Kanda, Lenalee Lee, Lavi, Miranda Lotto, and Arystar Krory. Assisting Allen and the Exorcists is a team of scientists and handlers led by Komui Lee, a Supervisor of the Black Order and Lenalee's older brother. Allen's master and mentor is the enigmatic Cross Marian, one of the five Exorcist Generals of the Black Order, who at the beginning of the story has mysteriously disappeared. In the course of completing their missions, Allen and his fellow Exorcists are introduced to the other Generals: Kevin Yeegar, Froi Tiedoll (Or Froi Theodore depending on translation), Cloud Nine, and Winters Sokaro.
The Millennium Earl is aided in his plans by The Noah Clan, humans who are direct descendants of Noah himself. Each member of this clan is gifted with great power and each represents a different 'aspect' of Noah. They are identified by their gray skin and line of cross-shaped markings on their foreheads. As the story progresses, the members of the clan are revealed: Road Kamelot (The Dreams of Noah), Tyki Mikk (The Pleasures of Noah), Jasdero and Debitto - Jasdebi (The Bonds of Noah), Skin Boric (The Wrath of Noah), and Lulubell (The Lust of Noah).
The Earl also utilizes an army of demonic creatures called Akuma to do his bidding. Akuma are created by taking advantage of someone's grief over the death of a loved one. The Earl tricks individuals into bringing their loved one back to life through a skeletal 'doll,' only to have that doll kill them and turn them into an Akuma with the soul of the dead loved one trapped inside. Akuma are able to evolve and with each new level grow more intelligent, powerful, and sadistic. Since Akuma can impersonate humans to blend in with people, Exorcists are routinely assigned to track down and eliminate them. Allen is the only exorcist able to actually see past an Akuma's disguise, this is because of a curse placed on him. The evolutions of Akuma are Level 1: which is the standard and start form of all Akuma; Level 2: Akuma gains a personality and a will of it's own and awakens it's abilities; Level 3: Akuma becomes a murderous being, wearing an impenetrable armor and awakens even more of its abilities. Currently, the highest and most powerful Akuma the exorcists face is a Level 4, which is extremely powerful and almost invincible, giving even the generals a difficult time.
So I have been out surfing the web trying to find something to do and I cant find anything, I signed up for the Stumbleupon tool bar, and I have to say its fun for a a little bit and then not so much. I was looking for shows to watch and there is not a lot out there. I understand the networks not wanting to put out quality feeds of there shows but do they have to be so small... if I'm going to watch something on my PC I would like it if I could at least have half the screen being the picture. I dont want to have a two inch by two inch square... anyway if you see anything good let me know!!

Knight Rider 3000
Written by Administrator
Thursday, 14 February 2008 19:49
So I watched the Knight Rider movie last night, I have to say for a TV movie it was not that bad. The plot was so Over all I would have to rate the show as a 4 out of 10, it’s ok to watch if you don’t have anything better to do, part of that comes from the fact that there where commercials every 5 minutes it seemed like. If Ford was sponsoring the movie, they should have just shown it commercial free.
{limage}eu2_bg.jpg{/limage}
It would have made the movie better in my opinion.
The one thing I really liked was the fact that they had Val Kilmer doing the voice of K.I.T.T I have liked him ever since Willow. Of course the best part of Willow was his ex-wife Joanne Whalley.

On the Brightside

Well on the brightside I'm no longer sick, well for the most part, I feel a lot better, I have been resting and drinking some tea and lemon and just working on feeling better. I stayed home from work last thursday. I will be busy the rest of the month so I can't really afford to be sick. Plus at the end of March I will be going to San Juan so I have to keep healthy. It would suck to not go on a free trip! The weather here has been keeping sunny with clouds in the sky so spring is here, that means we should soon be having fruit planted in the fields which will make for a wonderful Summer!!
