We are looking at replacing our broken grinder with this one, Capresso Infinity Conical Burr Grinders it seems to have gotten some really good reviews and wont burn out like our last one. If that is the case then it will be worth the money we are going to spend on getting it.

I have been looking at getting a wireless security system for my home. I think this is the way to go since its an older home and it would be really easy to retro fit the house for the security system. I need to call 877-470-2751 to ask a couple of question about how the service works and how you would get the two keychain remotes for the system when you place an order with them.

I also need to remember to tell my parents about this system since they live in an older brick home in Arizona and they have been broken into before. When that happened they ended up planting cactus all around there house. It looks good but now that they have grandkids coming over all the time its not the best solution to home security. I think that we would both be happy with the copper package since it would cover all the entry points in the house when you factor in the motion detector that is supplied with the service.

For my house I might need to add a couple of more entry points since the house has so many windows but I don’t think we would need them on the second floor but you never know. It might be worth it to cover those as well.

I really kind of like the idea of having a door chime since we leave the house unlocked when we are home.

Its almost the memorial day weekend, we are just hours away from 5pm and then its FREEDOM for a couple of days. I don’t know what all we are doing I know we are going to go to the beach on one of the days and other than that I don’t know what all is happening. I have a book that I would like to read it’s the just released book in the True Blood series so that should be fun to read through even though some friends are saying that it goes nowhere and does not accomplish anything in moving the story forward.

Hilton Promenade - Branson Landing PDF Print E-mail

Branson Missouri is the place to be they are having all kinds of events this summer. Not only is a lot happening but the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing is right smack in the middle of everything. Not only is the Payne Stewart Golf Club is managed by the Hilton so you can not only go to concerts but also golf  and take in the breathtaking scenery well you are golfing.

Some of the events taking place this summer are the Father’s Day Salute, National Kid’s Fest at Silver Dollar City, the 10th Annual Clown Jam, live entertainment, theaters and much more. In addition the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel is within easy driving distance to 49 live entertainment theaters.

So if I can save up the time off from work, I would like to head out to Missouri and have the Branson experience. I like the idea of seeing a bunch of the live shows and seeing a bunch of entertainers that I have not heard of or seen in years.

The other think I want to do is go to the “The Shoji Tabuchi Theatre” and see their bathroom. I saw a thing on the travel channel and this was the number one bathroom in the USA. When I saw it on the travel channel it was amazing they have a tournament pool table in the men’s bathroom.

Dutch Oven PDF Print E-mail

This summer is going to be good, I have been thinking about what to BBQ this summer. I need to try out the new Lodge Dutch Oven that I got. I was thinking to make some shredded beef enchilada’s with homemade red sauce. Other than that I don’t know what to do, I was thinking to do some chicken or something. I might be able to do a beer can chicken in the Dutch oven since I could set the Dutch oven on the grill and then heat it up that way. I need a list of some good websites that have camping recipes for a Dutch oven.

Ultra60small Charter is going to be launching its Ultra 60Mbps nationwide soon. 60Mbps is the fastest U.S. speed available. Its currently only available in St. Louis but will be rolled out to other areas along with other options later in 2009. They are saying that this speed will be great for the gamers and the telecommuting work set. I could see the people that work from home really getting behind this service. If you are a telecommuter check out the Ultra60 Information Page you will be able to find out everything about the service and what the guaranties are.

Currently the DSL providers are not able to compete with this speed, do to the limitations of the local office. Since the phone services is still using twisted copper cable and the signal degrades so fast that you would not be able to get 60Mbps on a consistent basis. And if you are a Gamer you know that the faster speeds help when you are playing online. I can just see all the people that are still playing World of Warcraft jumping on this service.

Stay up to date with the launch of the Ultra60 service via Charter’s Twitter Feed so you can get the service as soon as its launched in your area.

I ended up going to the dentist last night to get my teeth cleaned (that deep cleaning where they go under the gum) and it was 2 ½ hours that I was in the dentist chair. It was not all that bad but I ended up having a crown rest well I was there as well. As they were cleaning my teeth they found out that the crown was loose. The only bad part of this is that I have to go back in two weeks to have them clean the other side of my mouth.

decorative metal sheet PDF Print E-mail

I was watching TV the other night it was one of those home improvement shows. They were showing a house that had these really nice decorative metal sheet mounted on the house and I thought that was really cool looking. I ended up looking online to see if I could find a place that sells them locally. I have found places that will make it and ship it to you. And the amount of different designs that they have, its amazing how many different patters they have it seems to be in the hundreds just for enhancing the look of buildings.

In addition to architecture uses they also make baking tray, the picture that I saw looks like the bread trays they use at Subway to cook the bread on. I thought that was kind of cool since there bread is really good, and it would be nice to make that at home. I wonder if it’s the tray that helps to cook it evenly all the way around.

I would really suggest looking at accurateperforating.com you will find all kinds of patterns and ideas for what you could do with the products that they make. They even make pieces for cars so you can customize them.

Stocks and Bonds PDF Print E-mail

I have been really disappointed in the stock market of late, it seems like the market has not stabilized yet. For a couple of days the market is up and I’m making some money back and then it just tanks. I really wish they could get the market under control. I would like to be able to retire at some point in the future and if we keep having these fluctuations I don’t know if I will be able to do that since I’m not seeing any gains at all.

Private IT Security PDF Print E-mail

The jobs seem to be in IT Security there is a website that is part of the EC-Council they have a bunch of classes about Ethical Hacking. What they do is teach people how to test networks and to look for the paths that might be open to a hacker. I would think that this job would be a challenge every day. I would think you would have to keep up your knowledge of hardware and software. I have seen that they have programs for IT professionals that teach them what they need to know in order to be a Certified Ethical Hacker.

I personally think that this would be a great career path, I have always want to go to the big convention they have in Vegas where they recruit hackers for Government jobs and for big Companies. They have featured this convention on 20/20 and other news programs.

I need to look into how long these classes are and how much they cost. I have seen that you need to know a lot of different things like Security Fundamentals, Penetration Testing, Computer Forensics, Disaster Recovery and Secure Programming.

I will keep you guys up to date on what I find out.
