My parents are going to be here this weekend. They are going to get here Friday evening, so we will be hanging out over the weekend. They are bringing a couple of things up for me one of those is a pie rack. We will have to get that set up this weekend. In preparation for their arrival I will be cleaning the house Wednesday and Thursday of this week. I’m also going to have to stop at Target this week and get some new sheets and a couple of other items. |

It’s the weekend and I’m ready for it, I’m home alone this weekend so I’m going to be making some shredded beef enchilada’s I need to find a place that has Anaheim chilies. I think someone should have them. I want to toast it up and dice it and then cook it with the roast I got, add a little salt and pepper some tomato’s past and a little wine maybe and roast it in a cast iron pot for a couple of hours and then make my enchiladas with it. I think they should turn out really good. |

We totally freaked out last night; we had a masked bandit at our house. It totally reminded me that I was going to call about a wireless security system at toll free 877-470-2751. The bandit was a Raccoon that was crawling around on our patio and on the roof of the pergola. We really need to get some of those motion sensor lights out back so we know what is happening and the wireless security system would be good in the house as well since they are crawling up by the second story window that we leave cracked open a little. Since the Raccoons are so smart I think they would be able to figure out how to open the window. And having a Raccoon in the house would be really bad not only do they get into everything but they also carry rabies and I hear those shots are really painful. So I need to call 877-470-2751 and talk to them about their 2 keychain remotes with order, and also see what it would take to have a two level security system so we have the motion detector upstairs turned on if we are down stairs so we would know if someone opens the window.

HBO was at work today promoting the fact that all of there good summer shows are going to be starting here agian soon. I'm really excited about Season Two of "True Blood" I just finished reading the last book in the series and desperat to have the next one come out soon. I guess I will just have to get HBO in order to see what they do with "Living Dead in Dallas" and what happens with Sookie and Eric. Bill is almost not in this book, well he is but there is not a bunch of interaction with him that I remember. It will make for a roller coaster of a season though. It should be a lot of fun. I wonder if I should wait to get HBO until a couple of episodes have aired I really dont like waiting the week to see what has happend. |

I found this great sweepstakes online, since I have always wanted to go to Florida and Kissimmee would be great. Kissimmee is giving away three weekend getaways three days and two nights for two people in addition they are giving away two week long vacations for four people. The drawings will be held somewhere around the 1st of April, May or June. I would love to go for a week, from the research I have done they have a great water park as well as some great everglade tours that you can go one. I think it would be awesome to be able to do this. In addition I even have some time off from work that I could take. It would be a great summer vacation instead of what we have planned right now. Staycations are not that much fun, more restful maybe but more fun I don’t think so. I’m going to have to enter as often as I can and get my family members to enter as well. That way if someone wins the trip for four we would be able to go as well, since you know I would need a kickback for telling them about the contest. So wish me luck!!

We went down to wine country on Saturday and it was a lot of fun, we picked up some Port and a Reisling and a couple of other bottles of wine. Overall it was a good experiance. We stopped on the way back to try some Abby's Legendary Pizza and it is not as good as I remembered it. Its been what about 20 years since I tried it last so maybe that was part of why I thought it was so good, becasue when you are a kid everything taste amazing. |

We are looking at replacing our broken grinder with this one, Capresso Infinity Conical Burr Grinders it seems to have gotten some really good reviews and wont burn out like our last one. If that is the case then it will be worth the money we are going to spend on getting it. |

I have been looking at getting a wireless security system for my home. I think this is the way to go since its an older home and it would be really easy to retro fit the house for the security system. I need to call 877-470-2751 to ask a couple of question about how the service works and how you would get the two keychain remotes for the system when you place an order with them. I also need to remember to tell my parents about this system since they live in an older brick home in Arizona and they have been broken into before. When that happened they ended up planting cactus all around there house. It looks good but now that they have grandkids coming over all the time its not the best solution to home security. I think that we would both be happy with the copper package since it would cover all the entry points in the house when you factor in the motion detector that is supplied with the service. For my house I might need to add a couple of more entry points since the house has so many windows but I don’t think we would need them on the second floor but you never know. It might be worth it to cover those as well. I really kind of like the idea of having a door chime since we leave the house unlocked when we are home.

Its almost the memorial day weekend, we are just hours away from 5pm and then its FREEDOM for a couple of days. I don’t know what all we are doing I know we are going to go to the beach on one of the days and other than that I don’t know what all is happening. I have a book that I would like to read it’s the just released book in the True Blood series so that should be fun to read through even though some friends are saying that it goes nowhere and does not accomplish anything in moving the story forward. |

Branson Missouri is the place to be they are having all kinds of events this summer. Not only is a lot happening but the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing is right smack in the middle of everything. Not only is the Payne Stewart Golf Club is managed by the Hilton so you can not only go to concerts but also golf and take in the breathtaking scenery well you are golfing. Some of the events taking place this summer are the Father’s Day Salute, National Kid’s Fest at Silver Dollar City, the 10th Annual Clown Jam, live entertainment, theaters and much more. In addition the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel is within easy driving distance to 49 live entertainment theaters. So if I can save up the time off from work, I would like to head out to Missouri and have the Branson experience. I like the idea of seeing a bunch of the live shows and seeing a bunch of entertainers that I have not heard of or seen in years. The other think I want to do is go to the “The Shoji Tabuchi Theatre” and see their bathroom. I saw a thing on the travel channel and this was the number one bathroom in the USA. When I saw it on the travel channel it was amazing they have a tournament pool table in the men’s bathroom.

This summer is going to be good, I have been thinking about what to BBQ this summer. I need to try out the new Lodge Dutch Oven that I got. I was thinking to make some shredded beef enchilada’s with homemade red sauce. Other than that I don’t know what to do, I was thinking to do some chicken or something. I might be able to do a beer can chicken in the Dutch oven since I could set the Dutch oven on the grill and then heat it up that way. I need a list of some good websites that have camping recipes for a Dutch oven. |
