It’s amazing how the internet has changed since I first started using it back in the day. You had to connect to a BBS (Bulletin Board System) in order to see if you had any messages. You could play games back then but they were all text based choose you own adventure kind of games. Also nothing had pictures everything was text. Could you imagine that, with ever webpage in the world having pictures? Take leapfish there page is full of pictures and video you can I never had video, even AOL did not have video when they first started. I was so excited the first time I connected to CompuServe even thou all of their images where loaded from the disks you had to use. Now with Facebook you can get video images and a ton of other information in no time.
So check out this video that explains how the internet has changed over time and if you would like check out Leapfish they have a lot of really good information about how the internet has evolved you can even follow them on Twitter and Facebook, two services that no would have imagined back in the day when the internet was first getting started. I wonder what will be on the web in the next five years I’m sure it will all have changed again.
