I thought making a Polenta for dinner would be easy. The basic recipe is simple to follow but I think the real challenge is making them tasty and pairing them with something that will give them more flavor. I'm making them for the first time tonight and I was trying them as they cooled. They are good, but they need something. I'm thinking that I'm going to fry them a with a little onion and galic. And maybe add some butter to the oil to give them a better flavor. Right now they just taste like ground corn and that is just not appealing to me.
